One Heart For Thee

Born in Ishinomaki, Japan, Kelli Maeshiro merges traditional and contemporary art-making techniques in forming images that examine how identity is constructed through migration and memory. Maeshiro presents a series of paintings and organza-based organic wall sculptures drawn from the artist’s assessment of how our collective and individual relationships affect our identity.
